Step into the wild world of the “Fantastic Fauna” series, a collection where quirky creatures come to life on selected handmade vases and jars. These playful pieces transform recycled ceramics into a canvas for my mischievous monsters to dance, prowl, and party in golden splendour. Each stroke of paint breathes new life into these objects, turning them into vibrant, one-of-a-kind treasures brimming with character and whimsy.
It’s been a blast unleashing my wild imagination on these reclaimed vessels — a little magic, a little mischief, and a whole lot of fun! “Painting follows the form” is the motto of this series. It explores the association between two-dimensionality and three-dimensionality, extracting paintings from the canvas—transforming them from seemingly flat surfaces into lively entities. My goal is to infuse playfulness and experimentation, spanning the commercial and fantastical realms. Bridging the gap between practicality and wonder, this series blurs the lines between art, decoration, and design!
