Excerpts from my sketch diary with the faces I was seeing throughout the period of the covid 19 pandemic in Turin, Italy, a city where I lived at the time.
Some are dark and scary, mostly sad and desperate, all these faces have a strong feeling of isolation and loss of direction. I had a feeling that in this particular moment of time these drawings combined with thoughts written in my diary helped me to connect with other human beings on a non-verbal level, sharing the same sort of feeling.
